Nordic Inn Policies

Cancellation Policy

 

For individual rooms or suites:

June 1 - September 30  (High season)

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to check-in will receive a full refund of the deposit, while cancellations made within 14 days of check-in are responsible for the full reservation amount.

October 1 - May 31st (Low season)

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made 3 or more days prior to check-in will receive a full refund of the deposit, while cancellations made within 3 days of check-in are liable for the full reservation amount.

For group bookings:​

A non-refundable group booking deposit of $1,000 is required to book the hotel.

 

Individual guests must pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking to confirm their room within the reserved group block. Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to check-in will receive a full refund of the deposit, while cancellations made within 14 days of check-in are liable for the full reservation amount. Any unpaid units remain the responsibility of the group organizer.

Check In/Out Policy

Standard check in is at 4pm
Standard check-out time is 11am 

 

We're happy to offer contactless check-in. Please let us know what time you plan to check in when making your reservation so we can plan accordingly.

 

Guest room doors and the door to the hotel all have coded locks. You will receive a code and your room number 2 days before your booking in your Welcome email

Pet Policy

The Nordic Inn welcomes small dogs only (30 lbs or less). We ask that you call us directly to book your pet-friendly room. Please note that pets may never be left unattended and must be leashed when on The Nordic Inn property. A pet fee of $15 per night will be applied to your booking.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in our rooms or screened patio. If you wish to smoke outdoors, there is a dedicated smoking area with an ash tray located outside the front of the building.

Damages & Cleaning Policy

Light housekeeping services, including towel and coffee replenishment and garbage removal, are available upon request during regular business hours by calling 204-636-2601.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to rooms, furnishings, or property during their stay. Additional charges may apply if a room is left in an unusually dirty condition or requires excessive cleaning. A minimum $100 cleaning or damage fee may be applied in such cases.

Please note that a valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. If a credit card cannot be provided and the guest would like to pay by debit or etransfer, we require a refundable $300 damage deposit to be added to the booking. The damage deposit would be fully returned upon check-out, provided there are no damages to the rooms or property.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, only registered guests are permitted in guest rooms.

Quiet Time:

To ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay for all guests at The Nordic Inn, quiet hours are in effect daily from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

 

During quiet time, we kindly ask guests to:

  • Keep voices, televisions, music, and mobile devices at a respectful volume

  • Avoid loud gatherings in guest rooms, hallways, and outdoor spaces

  • Minimize noise when arriving late or departing early

  • Respect fellow guests, families, and travelers

 

As a boutique hotel designed for rest and relaxation, maintaining a quiet environment helps ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and restorative experience.

Guests who repeatedly disturb others during quiet hours may be asked to leave the property without refund.
